Tell Me What You Have Done This Week

Stop downplaying your accomplishments. Part of success is confidence. Part of confidence is being able to verbalize to another person your accomplishments. It is surprising how many people have a problem with this. Successful people don’t have a problem with this. When people compliment you on a job well done, say thank you and maybe even add what you plan to do next. Never say, “Oh, it was nothing” or “It really wasn’t that hard.” And when people ask why you are qualified to do something, always be able to list not only your experience, but your accomplishments as well. That’s your homework for the weekend, no matter what you do, create a short list of three to five things that make you stand out, that you’ve done well, that you have accomplished over the last few years.
