Today, before you share, retweet, or pass on a post from another – do a little quick research and make sure it is true. The power of social media is truly staggering sometimes. And, with a new political tsunami headed our way, you will be tempted to share away. Again, make sure the accusation or ‘fact’ is true. Before you single handedly ruin a life.  This mom’s concern was understandable when she accused an innocent man of being a pedophile but she should have confronted the man first before she posted what turned out to be an untrue accusation (one thousand times over I wish I could just take it back). By the time she figured that out, it had gone viral and he will be fixing this for sometime to come. All he wanted was a picture with Darth Vader to send his teenager. Read the story here.
