What have you done the last few hours?

A 2011 viral piece from FastCompany.com created more comments again yesterday. YDST shared 5 things to do every day for success on LinkedIn and the response was no different than the first time – people want to argue about the first thing:

1. Wake up early. For the next week, get up a half an hour earlier that you normally do – and get going. If you get a few more things done, then get up even earlier the next week. Early in the morning is a great time to get work done because most of your associates have not started emailing, tweeting, texting, or posting yet.

It doesn’t matter if you are a ‘lark’ or a ‘night owl’ – the important thing is to be up before the people who give you money and before your competition. Not to mention you’ll also have time to work out, meditate, read – something positive to start the day.

Don’t argue – just try it the rest of the year and see what happens …

Signed up since 4:30 – tell me below in the comments section what time you get up each day and why,
