Clients often ask for help in making something go viral. You cannot make something go viral – you can make something really good or funny or touching or all of the above. West Jet Airlines has over 30 million views for their Christmas 2013 video - that is major Christmas present viral. For good reason, it was an amazing idea brought to life. (They did one last year as well – watch here.) So, how do you or your company do this? The conversation usually goes like this:

Lower level employee: “What if we (insert crazy idea here)”

Employee’s direct manager: “No, we can’t do something like that. That’s crazy.”

Leader with a vision: “Why not? Let’s do it and see what happens.”

Do you have a yes vision mouth or a no bah humbug mouth?
