We need to talk about your phone addiction

Note from the editor: Since Dayna is currently on vacation, we're sharing one of her most popular tips from earlier this year.  Are you addicted to your phone?  It's an appropriate discussion to have in our month of mobile!  Share your thoughts in the comments below.

A study published earlier this year in the New England Journal of Medicine has found the risk of a crash or near-miss increased more than sevenfold if dialing or reaching for a cellphone. David Strayer, a University of Utah scientist who has done research on this topic, said the findings that merely talking on a phone while driving was not dangerous is completely at odds with what we found. Consider adopting the phone resolutions from Arne Sorenson, President and CEO at Marriott International - Master Your Phone Or It Will Master You.

Guilty as charged. I need to get much better at this. You?
