Congratulations once again to the finalists in the ICMI Summer Video Contest. What was asked of them was ambitious. The quality work submitted was outstanding. The battle between competitors on Facebook was pitched. Alas, "there can be only one" winner. Here's one final look at the finalists' videos before crowning a victor.
Video Contest Finalist - Starbucks Partner Contact Center
Submitted by Bill Badgley, this "classic" video illustrates the culture of the Starbucks Partner Contact Center, and how that culture serves its customers with compassion and lives up to the Starbucks mission "To inspire and nurture the human spirit - one person, one cup, and one neighborhood at a time."
Video Contest Finalist - Lifestyle Lift Contact Center
Submitted by Jose Martinez and LSJ Marketing, this video shows that while creating a contact center culture that works can be a journey, when you do create one, it can be EPIC (Every Patient Interaction Counts).
It was a challenge for the panel of judges to decide on a winner. Both were entertaining and had great messages. For a time the vote was split between the two finalists. In the end, it was Brad Cleveland himself who cast the deciding vote.
The winner of the ICMI Summer Video Contest is...
Bill Badgley and the Starbucks Partner Contact Center!!
Job well done to Bill and Team Starbucks. Their video depicted a culture that wholeheartedly embraces the mission of their company, and ensures it's reflected in every interaction with their customers. Nice touch with the retro theme too! Bill and company get the grand prize, which includes a pair of tickets to the ICMI Orlando Symposium, and their video incorporated into an ICMI training course.
Heaping kudos also goes to Jose and Team Lifestyle Lift. We totally dig the EPIC culture they have. Their depiction of a contact center on a quest to define a culture happens in contact centers every day. We thank them for putting that out there in a lighthearted way. The blooper clip at the end is really awesome too! Jose and company will receive a copy of the latest edition of Call Center Management on Fast Forward and a free pass to an OnDemand virtual course from ICMI.
It's not often that everyone who enters a contest walks away a winner, but that's the case this time. Thanks to both finalists for sharing the beauty and spirit of their contact centers.
