As a baby boomer who has worked in a call center environment with millennials, I can tell you there is a generational divide. (That's why I wrote a book about it). Some baby boomers who are in managerial positions are definitely not as engaging as they ought to be and have difficulty thinking outside the box when it comes to new and innovative ways of doing things. Millennials, meanwhile, can gain wisdom and knowledge of their work environment if they would also be willing to be more receptive. It's a two-way street for both generations.
