When you (or your company) mess something up – big or small – always go big with the apology. Step up, take responsibility, admit you did wrong – and fix it. Charlie the Wonder Husband always says it’s not an apology if it is followed by an excuse – as in I’m really sorry but – there should never be a but in an apology.
