VXi at CES 2012, Mail Tracking App, Desktop Software Partnership, Web-Based Services

VXi Debuts Headset at CES 2012

VXi Corporation is revealing three new headset products at the 2012 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas this week, including the VXi UC ProSet for contact centers and offices. Said to block 87% of all background noise, the UC ProSet can deliver crisp, natural audio. VXi will also be revealing the BlueParrott Xpress Bluetooth headset and the BlueParrott B250-XT+ headset, with noise cancellation and other features geared for general consumer use.

SourceLink Launches Mobile App for Mail Tracking

SourceLink has launched a mobile app for Android users that works in conjunction with their proprietary mail-tracking tool, MultiTrac. The MultiTrac tool not only tracks mail, but also provides a marketing solution that allows clients complete visibility into their inbound and outbound mail delivery performance. It also helps clients more effectively manage call center staffing, inbound cash receipts, campaign performance and predictive response modeling. SourceLink plans to release an app for the Apple platform in the first half of 2012.

Spanlink and Altitude Partner to Sell Agent Desktop Tools

Spanlink Communications and Alititude Software have entered a partnership that enables Spanlink to resell Altitude’s agent script development tools and unified desktop solution, including the Altitude Scripting Studio and Altitude Unified Desktop. The Altitude products integrate with Cisco contact center solutions and enable Spanlink customers with the ability to easily edit or change agent scripts and call campaigns. The Scripting Studio can create new services and campaign flows and enables creation and use of multi-channel campaigns integrated with business workflows. The Unified Desktop can streamline multiple applications into a single agent desktop and provides customers with direct access to databases.

LogMeIn Acquires Bold Software, Expands Web Portfolio

LogMeIn has completed its acquisition of the assets of Bold Software, provider of web chat and customer communications software, as part of its larger strategy to expand its portfolio of web-based services aimed at customer care organizations. LogMeIn plans to continue offering BoldChat, Bold Software's premier live chat and click-to-call customer service solution, as a standalone product while integrating the BoldChat service with its other product lines. Under the transaction terms, LogMeIn acquired substantially all of the net assets of Bold Software for total consideration of approximately $16.5 million.
