New Global Operations Vice President Joins Encore Capital Group
The Encore Capital Group, Inc. has appointed Shailendra Kumar as their new Vice President of Global Operations. In this role, Kumar will be working with Encore’s global services team to expand their presence through strategic global services initiatives. He will also be responsible for managing call center collections and directing the availability and scalability of the company's collection databases. Kumar has over a decade of leadership experience in managing operations, outsourcing and offshoring programs at Hewlett Packard, Sony Electronics and GMAC Financial Services (now Ally Financial).
Sword Ciboodle Appoints Experienced Fortune 500 Executive as CEO for the Americas
Industry veteran and Fortune 500 executive, Richard DeFrancisco, was recently appointed Chief Executive Offer of the Americas at Sword Ciboodle. The global provider of customer engagement solutions has recently experienced significant growth in its market presence in the Americas, and DeFrancisco's new responsibilities will be to further focus and continue that growth. Prior to joining Sword Ciboodle, DeFrancisco has held executive and management positions with major software companies such as StoredIQ, Oracle and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Maricom Selects New Corporate Information Security and Privacy Officer
Maricom Systems, Inc. has selected industry veteran, Jason Taule, as its new Corporate Information Security and Privacy Officer. In this role, Taule will be responsible for the company's information security strategy, policy and program, which will also involve promoting and coordinating enterprise-wide information security, risk management, privacy, and governance. Taule offers Maricom more than 25 years of experience in industry and has held multiple senior level security positions with companies including General Dynamics Information Technology, Ajilon Consulting and Booz Allen & Hamilton. He has also served on the State of Maryland Governor's IT Security Subcommittee, and is a former member of the Privacy Committee of the Colorado State Government Data Advisory Board.
Voxbone Hires Vice President of Business Development as They Expand Telecom Market Presence in North America
Voxbone recently hired VoIP and telecommunications expert, Hugh Goldstein, as their Vice President for Business Development for North America. The addition of Goldstein is a crucial part of the company's plan to strengthen and expand their presence in the North American telecom market as a provider of geographical, toll-free and iNum telephone numbers. Goldstein's industry credentials include XConnect, Arbinet, VocalTec, Surf&Call Solutions and Belgacom North America. He also worked with Voxbone prior to accepting his current role to help develop their iNum initiative for a global numbering system.
