Home-based Reps Wanted in Canada; Smart Center to Hire Military Families

Alpine Access will be hiring more than 150 Canadian employees for work-at-home customer care positions in the next 30 days. The new positions will provide services to customers of a large Canadian communications service provider. Alpine will primarily focus on candidates living in New Brunswick, Saskatchewan, British Columbia, Alberta and Nova Scotia, but applications will be accepted from across the country as well. Chicago-based Quality Customer Service & Sales (QCSS, Inc.) will open a new 100-seat smart center in Deer Park, Ill. this summer and has pledged to reserve a portion of those seats for military spouses. The pledge supports QCSS’ involvement in Joining Forces, a White House initiative focused on creating jobs for military spouses and family members that are virtual (home-based) or near military bases or home-based positions. As a member of the Jobs4America coalition, the company has declared that it will hire approximately 200 new employees in the next two years. Sitel has announced plans to hire 200 more employees at its call center in Las Cruces, N.M. The company will host an on-site job fair on April 19, at 2100 Summit Court, where candidates can apply in person from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Candidates can also apply online at Sitel's Careers section at sitel.com Source.

Alorica is looking to hire 275 new customer service employees by this summer to staff a new call center in Northwest Fresno, Cali. The company has already hired more than 500 people over the last 18 months, outgrowing its Clovis facility. Construction on new center is currently underway. Source.
