Yes! Accord­ing to Right­Now, 89% of cus­tomers began doing busi­ness with a com­peti­tor fol­low­ing a poor cus­tomer expe­ri­ence....even if that competitor was offering the same product at a higher price! Look at Nordstrom: successful department store with a higher price point product. Their philosophy is and always has been customer centric. My colleague wrote an article about human-centric vs issue-centric customer service.
