New in 2017! The ICMI Book Club
| Published: January 10, 2017 | Comments
You asked and we listened! Our community has a thirst for knowledge, and in our effort to continue arming the contact center industry with the best tools and resources to deliver outstanding service, we’ve decided to launch a book club.
ICMI’s book club is an interactive, virtual reading group for those passionate about improving the customer experience. Whether you’re a contact center director, agent, or a CXO, this is the space for you to learn, network, and grow. Each month we’ll read and discuss a book that will empower you to better serve your teams and customers.
Want to participate? It’s easy! Head over to our Goodreads group and join. We’ll post updates here on a weekly basis. You’ll find special discount codes, information on upcoming featured books and authors, and more. You’ll also have the opportunity to interact with fellow readers.
Ready to learn which book we’ve selected for this month?
Our first official book is The Culture Engine, by Chris Edmonds. His book is available for purchase on Amazon, but you can also use the coupon code ICMIbookclub to receive $5 off an autographed copy from his website.
We thought this book was the perfect way to kick off the new year (and a perfect complement to our current editorial focus on culture & engagement). In the book you’ll find tons of practical advice, stories, and even exercises you can complete with your team. In fact, why not make this a team activity?
On February 17th at 2pm ET, Chris Edmonds will join us for a live 45-minute book discussion. Register now to receive a calendar reminder!
Finally, want to stay in touch throughout the month? Subscribe to ICMI’s weekly newsletter, Contact Center Insider. We’ll share announcements about upcoming book club activities, but we’ll also give you access to a host of free resources you can use in your day-to-day. Bonus: we’ll share how you can meet some of our featured authors at ICMI events this year!
Happy reading! Let us know: what books should we feature in the future? Leave your comments here, or tweet us at #ICMIbookclub.
